In a video obtained by Lisadaftari.com, ISIS has reportedly claimed a captured Assyrian Christian has converted to Islam.
The video begins with a man pledging allegiance to Allah and declaring Mohammed as the only prophet and concludes with him being embraced by ISIS militants.
In February, ISIS abducted 250 to 375 Christians following repeated attacks on their villages in the northern Syrian province of al Hasakah.
Despite reports of negotiations to free the hostages, a source confirmed to lisadaftari.com earlier this month that some of the hostages were being used as human shields.
