Timeline of John Kerry’s Interactions with Iran’s Regime

Former Secretary of State and Biden administration cabinet member John Kerry is coming under fire for allegedly informing Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif about covert Israeli operations targeting Iranian interests.

This is the most recent red flag that may signal that Kerry has been colluding with the Iranian regime.

The report follows several other instances in which Kerry exhibited abnormally close ties with the regime, which is the world’s top terrorist sponsor and a key adversary to Israel, America’s most critical Middle Eastern ally.

The following is a timeline of Kerry’s interactions with the regime:

· 2013 - 2015 – Kerry served as a chief negotiator leading up to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA). The deal flooded Iran with billions of dollars in sanctions relief while failing to address Iran’s ballistic missile program or regional terrorism.

“The deal lifted crippling economic sanctions on Iran in exchange for very weak limits on the regime’s malign behavior, including its sinister activities in Syria, Yemen, and other places all around the world.” – Former President Trump, 2018

· January 2016 Kerry admits that some money freed up by sanctions relief on Iran will fund terrorism.

“I think that some of it will end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists.” – Former Sec. of State John Kerry in an interview with CNBC

· May 2018 – Kerry is exposed for meeting several times with Zarif, and possibly other Iranian officials, during the Trump administration in an alleged attempt to undermine Trump’s maximum pressure campaign against Tehran.

“You can’t find precedent for this in US history, and Secretary Kerry ought not to engage in that kind of behavior. It’s inconsistent with what foreign policy of the United States is as directed by this president, and it is beyond inappropriate for him to be engaged.” – Former Secretary of State for the Trump administration Mike Pompeo

· April 2021 – Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif says in a leaked audio tape that Kerry informed Iran about hundreds of covert Israeli strikes on Iranian interests in Syria.

“It was former US Foreign Secretary John Kerry who told me Israel had launched more than 200 attacks on Iranian forces in Syria.” – Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif

“If the tape is verified, it would signal catastrophic and disqualifying recklessness by Envoy Kerry to Foreign Minister Zarif that endangered the safety of Americans and our allies.” – Sen. Ted Cruz

Despite Kerry’s denial of his most recent alleged collusion with Iran, many Republicans are calling for his resignation.

“There should be absolutely no question whose side America is on. Indeed, the only question we should be asking is if Joe Biden stands with John Kerry, Iran, and our enemies or with Israel,” said Rep. Chip Roy.
