The Islamic State’s notorious all-woman Al-Khansaa Brigade savagely murdered a mother who was caught breastfeeding her baby on the streets of Raqqa, Syria.

Aisha, a mother of two and a prior resident of Raqqa who fled the ISIS stronghold city after her husband was beheaded for smoking a cigarette told The Sunday Times, “An [ISIS] policewoman took the baby, gave it to another woman, and then killed the mother.”

According to claims on Pro-ISIS social media accounts, the mother defied public decency rules and was mutilated before she was killed.

The Al-Khansaa Brigade, a group of approximately 60 women who have been active for 18 months, is largely made up of foreign jihadists from North Africa, Europe and other Persian Gulf countries. A key member of the Al-Khansaa Brigade is 20-year-old Aqsa Mahmood from the United Kingdom, who has been seen posting instructions and checklists for young schoolgirls on what to pack before leaving their families to join ISIS.

Women living in Islamic State-controlled territories are faced with extremely strict dress codes, mandating that they cover every inch of their body, hiding their eyes and any skin and forbid any use of makeup. Punishment for violating dress codes ranges from public lashings to death.
